How to download Facebook videos

Not being able to download your favorite videos from Facebook is something that most users hate. But there are certain ways in which you can get your work done and save those beloved videos. Following are the ways in which you can download Facebook videos.

To download a video posted/shared by a friend

Unlike the ones uploaded by you, Facebook sadly doesn't allow you download those videos that are posted or shared by your friends. However, there are certain steps by which you can download or save any video uploaded on Facebook without any software:

From Desktop/Laptop

• Open Facebook and find the video you want to download. 
• Play it and Right click on the video playing.
• Select  " Show video URL " from the popup.

• Copy the URL displayed in the box.

• Paste the URL in the address bar of the browser. Example. " https://www.facebook.com/xxxxxx/videos/1146714495369195/ "
• Now change " www " to " m " in the URL. so that now URL looks like this: " https://m.facebook.com/xxxxxx/videos/1146714495369195/ ".
• Browser will open the mobile site of your facebook.
• Once the mobile version of the page opens, click play and right click the video and then from the options select " Save video as ",  " Save target " as or " Save link " as depending on the browser you are using.

From mobile browsers

• Open Facebook mobile site in any browser.
• Find the video you want to download.
• Play the video and Right click on the video. (Touch and hold for some seconds for the right click)
• Select " Save video " option from the popup.
• Video gets downloaded.

From Android Facebook app

• Find the video you want to download.
• Play the video and Select " Copy link " option.

• Open the browser and paste the copied link.
• Play the video and Right click on the video. (Click and hold for some seconds for the right click)
• Select " Save video " option from the popup.
• Video gets downloaded.
